The ceiling frescoes display the “Regal Virtues”, while those in the windows lunettes show “Images of the Kingdom Provinces”.

The evocative atmosphere is heightened by several allegories and armonial bearings, related to the epoch in which they were painted. Referring to such frescoes, Carlo Celano, a Neapolitan literate, wrote: “…going back to the artistic beauties of the hall, every visitor stands in awe of the vivid composition, worth of countless praises as,through them, the renowed painter strove to convey the problem of which one had to be considered the inspiring virtues of a proper political leadership”.
